Community Initiatives

Children are our province’s most precious resource; however, there are some that are threatened with illnesses that are not only challenging, but life altering as well. 

For most of us the care and well being of our children is our top priority.  The support of communities is very important to our success.  Community groups, and individuals hold various fundraisers from bake sales to ticket raffles, walks and runs, golf tournaments and hockey tournaments.  The list is endless,  all to raise money to support the Janeway.  Our community partners are there to champion the cause for the Janeway and for this we are truly grateful.

Here are a few suggestions to help you get started with your
next event in aid of the Janeway:

1. Have a bake or craft sale
2. Plan a Potluck
3. Hold a yard sale
4. Host an afternoon tea
5. Organize a walk or run in your community
6. Hold a ticket draw ( you must obtain a lottery license)
7. Be really creative, come up with your own event and have fun.
